Job Description
|
| Marysville Fire District employs 91 full-time career employees and approximately 35 part-time employees. In addition to fire protection service, MFD provides advanced life support and basic life support emergency services including transportation, fire prevention and public education. Marysville Fire District serves a population of approximately 66,000 over an area of 55 square miles that includes service to the City of Marysville, Seven Lakes, Quilceda Village, contracted response to the Smokey Point neighborhood of the City of Arlington, as well as, a diverse expanse of unincorporated Snohomish County.

Job Requirements
|
Age 21 by 12/01/08Education High School Grad/GED
Additional Requirement : Candidates must have a valid WA State driver's license by the time of hire, have the ability to read and speak the English language, undertake and pass a medical exam and drug screening, a psychological exam and submit to a law enforcement background investigation.
Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) Basic Certification from Washington State or the National Registry by December 1, 2008.
National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) Firefighter 1 Certification established by the International Fire Service Accreditation by December 1, 2008.
A current CPAT passing score. CPAT tests are available through National Testing Network by December 1, 2008.
